Foundation Announces 2017 PTC John Ness Memorial Education Grant Winners

The Foundation for Dental Laboratory Technology (The Foundation) is proud to announce the 2017 PTC John Ness Memorial Education Grant Winners:

Joan Jagerson, CDT – Rosemount, MN
Marney Rae Mallory, RG – Anchorage, AK
Thin Sandar Khine, CDT – Rosemead, CA

The Productivity Training Corporation (PTC), along with the Foundation for Dental Laboratory Technology, created this grant in order to support the Foundation’s purpose by making higher-level education more accessible. Thanks to the generosity of PTC, each individual will have their tuition fee covered to attend one of the PTC Ness Academy Hands on Courses taken during scheduled PTC dates at PTC headquarters.

“With all thanks to PTC, the Foundation has been fortunate enough to award 12 PTC John Ness Memorial Education Grants over the past three years, with more to come in the future. The number of grants awarded amounts to $36,000 of course tuition that is being utilized by technicians striving to be at the top of the dental laboratory profession. Needless to say, PTC is a huge supporter of our purpose and we feel beyond privileged to have them on our side as we secure the future,” said Foundation Chair, Jeff Stronk.

The PTC John Ness Memorial Education Grant will be offered again this year, for recipients to attend a PTC Ness Academy Hands on Course in 2018. The application deadline for the 2018 PTC John Ness Memorial Education Grant is October 15, 2017. Click here for details on this grant opportunity.
