Our Foundation provides several important benefits to existing educational programs including access to grants and scholarships for their programs and faculty, access to web-based education and assistance in acquiring equipment and materials for their programs.

Dental Laboratory Technicians

Technicians currently working in a laboratory can utilize the Foundation’s web-based education to train themselves to achieve knowledge and skills. For technicians looking to pursue a more formal program, FDLT provides a variety of grants and scholarships to assist with obtaining dental laboratory technology education.

Laboratory Owners and Managers

Many dental laboratories struggle with training and educating employees to produce work that consistently meets expectations. As lab owners ourselves, we understand how difficult it is to find time for instruction, shadowing and critiquing new staff on necessary and changing skills. The Foundation’s web-based education can become an important part of the in-house training for laboratories.
